When should I arrive for my treatment?
If you are a new client we recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled treatment so you can check in. If you are an existing client, you should arrive a 5-10 minutes before the appointment so you can check in and be in the designated waiting area so you service can start on time. In order to ensure you receive the full treatment, please be on time. Otherwise, we will complete as much as we can in the time allowed.
What should I wear for my treatment?
We recommend you wear whatever you are comfortable changing in and out of. If you are receiving a waxing treatment or a nail treatment, you will probably not be changing into a robe so wear clothes that allow easy access to the appropriate areas and bring sandals that won't be covered after the polish. If you are receiving our Bronzing Treatment, please wear loose fitting, dark, cotton clothing in case some of the bronzer rubs off.
Will my technician recommend products to me?
Of course! At Polish, we are about results. We want to educate you and help you achieve the desired results for your skin, hands, feet, nails, body, overall being. We want to make sure you "get Polished!" (But make sure you use them once you have them.)
Should I shave before my pedicure?
Rule of thumb: Don't ever shave the same day before your pedicures, bronzings or body treatments. At polish, our spa pedicures entail a salt scrub which can be irritating to the skin.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule?
If you have to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you give us 24 hours notice or we will have to charge you. If you get voicemail, please remember to clearly leave your name, date, time and service. Credit card numbers will be requested to reserve your appointment time.
Is Polish clean?
Polish is positively cuckoo about health and safety. Each individual station is equipped with a porcelain sink with fresh running water and tools that are sterilized in a hospital grade disinfectant. Buffers, Files, Toes Separators are all packaged in an organza bag for you to bring back each visit. (This ensures no one else shares you non-disinfectables.) As for our tubs, technicians scrub and use a hospital grade disinfectant as well. Ask our regulars, they joke about our cleanliness—plus, no acrylics keep the air super fresh too!
Can I use my cell phone and pager in the spa?
Please remember clients are coming to Polish for relaxation. So PLEASE turn off cell phones and pagers. If you must use your phone, we would appreciate it if you would use your phone outside.
What if I have health conditions?
Any health conditions should be filled out on our client intake sheet and discussed with your Polish technician. For you safety and care, it is crucial that we have this information on file and your technician is aware of any existing or new health conditions.
How Can I pay for my services?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and of course, cash.
Do you sell Gift Certificates?
Of course we do! Polish Gift Certificates are a perfect gift for anyone. You can purchase any increment or service. You can even add the gratuity on the gift certificate. And ask about our drive up gift certificate service. Pick up a gift without getting out of your car!
